About Mel & Our Journey Together

Our journeys are full of twists and turns. One day we’ve got it all figured out and the next we’re questioning everything we thought we knew.

Navigating Life’s Journey is a place where we can explore life’s challenges, celebrate its joys, and support each other in finding purpose and growth. Remember, wherever we are on our path, we’re not alone.

From Cult to Connection: My Journey

My name is Mel Inglima, and I’ve learned that life’s ups and downs are a gift. Each stumble and each triumph has taught me something new, and I’m here to share those lessons.

I wasn’t always a traveler on life’s winding path. My early years, from a very young boy, were spent in a restrictive religious cult, where I was taught to focus only on preparing for the immanent next life. Marriage, kids, a career, and connections to “the outside world” weren’t part of the plan.

When I finally broke free in early adulthood, I faced a steep learning curve. I had to figure out how to build a life from scratch—and fast. I dove into jobs, built businesses, and stumbled around directionless at times. Along the way, through failures and successes, I discovered a passion for helping others thrive, no matter the obstacles.

Today, at 74, I’m more determined than ever to use my experiences to spark meaningful conversations, share insights, and create a space where people of all ages feel empowered to navigate their own journeys.

Why Questions Matter More Than Answers

It’s not easy for us to keep moving forward in a direction that serves us best. In the face of uncertainty, we can veer off course. When that happens the path to fulfillment stalls along with it.

But, there’s always hope! In this space and community we tackle life’s challenges and roadblocks. Often it’s our questions that reveal deeper truths. We’ll never be free of setbacks but with the right approach and mindset, that can be a good thing. I’ve learned that the right questions are even more valuable than quick answers.

Questions help us grow, adapt, and find clarity amid the uncertainty. They can help us find our inner compass, guiding us in the right direction when we stall out.
